Jester Earrings

This piece was inspired by jesters. Jesters were known to be medieval entertainers of the royalty and nobility but also of common folk during town fairs. The colours of this piece symbolize the brightly coloured and eccentric patterns you would see on a typical jester's clothing. I used Ruby and Peridot to represent the motley pattern and Freshwater Pearls to represent the ball tips of a jester's hat. Agate danglers of blotched black, brown, creme and purple were added for more character. I made the Agate danglers removable so the ruby, peridot and pearl cluster can be an everyday piece.
