THIS IS MY STORY.

After leaving the corporate world in 2010, I wanted to do something that I was passionate about, make me truly happy, allow me to spend time with my family and meet people.

Sometime in 2012, my sister came home from a trip and gave me a 34-carat loose green faceted stone as a souvenir gift. I was able to find a supplier who could set the stone for me in sterling silver, dipped in 24K gold with the design I wanted. It turned out really pretty. So then the big and bright lightbulb appeared. My sisters and I started going through old pieces we had, played around with beads and stones, and had them made for our own use.

I started buying stones and beads and having pieces made in 2013, right after my girls and I got home from a family vacation. In a span of 5 months, I was able to create more than 50 beautiful handcrafted pieces. In November 2013, Tata Handcrafted Jewelry made its debut at a charity event at the Ayala Museum in Greenbelt, Makati. And the rest is history.

I also purchase vintage pieces and restore, refurbish and resell them under my brand. To date, THJ has produced more than 600 unique and one of a kind works of art. I believe that each piece, whether it was created from scratch or a revived piece, has a story to tell.

All THJ pieces are an expression and manifestation of my passion for my family and my love for beauty, life, and everything shining, shimmering, splendid.
